Rules

Sunday Scaries FFL. Eight friends. Sleeper is the official platform. Sleeper stat corrections stand. Have Fun and Don’t Be a Dick.

1. Officers

Commissioner: Will Maness. Vice commissioner: Ben Bankhead. There is no treasurer. League payments run through Sleeper.

The commissioner handles matters not expressly covered here. Anyone directly involved in a dispute recuses. If the commissioner’s team is involved, the vice commissioner decides. Collusion and temporary player loans are prohibited. Active lineups are required every week.

2. Entry fee and payouts

Entry fee: TBD. Once the buy-in is set, the entire pot is 1st place 80% and 2nd place 20%. No third-place payout unless the league later approves one.

3. Draft

Thursday, Aug 27, 2026, 8:15 PM CT, Haute Poppies Floral. Sleeper live auction. $200 budget. $1 minimum. Sixteen drafted roster spots. IR starts empty. Auction dollars are not cash and do not become FAAB. No keepers in the 2026 draft.

4. Roster

Start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX (RB/WR/TE), 1 SUPERFLEX (QB/RB/WR/TE), 1 K, 1 DEF.

Bench 5. IR 1. Two regular flexes plus one superflex.

5. Scoring

Half-PPR. Receptions are 0.5. Other scoring categories follow the posted Sleeper settings for this league. Official Sleeper stat corrections stand.

6. Waivers / FAAB

$100 FAAB per team per season. Claims are blind bids. Highest bid wins. Equal bids break by Sleeper’s rolling waiver priority. Sleeper’s waiver processing schedule controls the clock. Routine trades are not league-voted. Collusion may be blocked by the officers.

7. Championship bracket

Regular season runs through Week 15. Playoffs begin Week 16. Championship is Week 17. Four teams. No first-round byes.

Standings: win/loss first, points for as the first tiebreaker.

Week 16: #1 vs #4, #2 vs #3. Winners play in Week 17. The Week 17 winner is the Sunday Scaries FFL Champion.

8. Toilet Bowl — lose and advance

Seeds #5, #6, #7, #8. This is not a consolation bracket where winners advance. The loser advances.

Week 16: #5 vs #8, #6 vs #7. The two Week 16 losers play in Week 17. The loser of the Week 17 Toilet Bowl final is last place.

Last-place punishment: TBD.

9. Keepers

There are no keepers in 2026. There are no prior Sunday Scaries rosters. Nobody keeps a player in the inaugural draft.

Beginning with a future season in which Sunday Scaries adopts keepers, the league will use the SAE Lambda Pi keeper framework unless the league approves a modification:

• One optional keeper per team.
• Maximum of two seasons as a keeper.
• Auction acquisition price is the initial keeper value.
• First keeper year generally doubles the acquisition price.
• Second keeper year follows the same escalation.
• Once the value reaches the SAE threshold, use the established $45 / +$10 methodology.
• $0 or $1 waiver acquisitions become $2 for the first keeper season and $4 for the second.
• Expensive drafted players later dropped and reacquired keep the SAE treatment for that situation.
• Traded or acquired players retain applicable keeper history and value.

10. Amendments

Offseason amendments may be proposed by any member. Permanent constitutional amendments need 5 affirmative votes of 8. On a 4–4 deadlock of a matter that permits a simple majority, the commissioner breaks the tie if not personally conflicted.
